At the 43rd Annual Forum of the EAIR – The European Higher Education Society Ulrike Felt and Vera Ulmer will present their paper “Making Sense of Publishing. Tracing Dominant Strands in Early Career Researchers’ Narratives” on 9th September. The early career researchers’ stories shed light onto the multiplicity and fluidity of authorship and publication practices and allow us to see how epistemic motivations and visions of a life in science get entangled with researchers’ values, priorities, and identities.
